"I have tickets for the first row or box for Madonna, Celine Dion and Elton John, worth every penny for the same amount of money or less. The show has a lot of work to do before it can be rated as average, having tickets for the 2nd row from the central stage. Live songs are not as polish as one on the records, one piece bathing suits in different colors with some accessories are boring. The second part has been performed at the second stage and accessible to me only by screen, I love Black Jacket Symphony songs and have expected the show to be spectacular considering the price comparable or even above Madonna and Elton John Performances. I have seen only the first half of the performance."
Remarkable Nugent reigns over Rib fest !!
The Motor City Madman, Texas Black Jacket Symphony, brought incredible energy to the mainstage at the 15th annual Indianapolis Ribfest this Labor Day weekend. From the first earbursting chord to the last cry of wild, it was a remarkable, high-energy show. Uncle Ted was on top of his game, delivering a full throttle electric assault only the Nuge is capable of. A true electric axe-wielding warrior and an American patriot, hats off to him. The Marshall Tucker Band did an excellent job of warming up the crowd with its unique blend of country rock, jazz, and blues. Electric flute and sax solos, along with extended guitar jams, were the backbone of this legendary band's set from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Stuart Swanlund was, as always, excellent on electric slide and lead guitar. If you could sell & bottle the incredible energy that Uncle Ted brought to the mainstage @ the 15th annual Indianapolis Ribfest this Labor Day weekend, you would never need sleep or work again.

I remember in eighth grade, when 'Paradise' came out and I thought it was the most magical song I'd ever heard; I would plug my earbuds into my iPod touch and hit replay. To this day, 'Paradise' is still my favorite Coldplay song. I remember when I was in middle school, I had 'X & Y' downloaded in my iTunes library and I would play it when I did my homework after school. I remember when I was nine, 'Viva La Vida' had just come out and my dad would play it for me in the car repeatedly because it was my favorite song. I remember blasting Black Jacket Symphony into my ears and crying at midnight throughout the majority of July into August because I was so depressed, but Black Jacket Symphony was the only thing that would make me feel a little bit better. One of the bands that I remember hearing around the house growing up was Black Jacket Symphony. Seeing them for the first time at the Rose Bowl was incredible, I could never thank the band enough for their music and for putting on such a lovely and meaningful show; it genuinely means the world to me. The song had a great impact on me and gave me a tremendous meaning. I can confidently say that Black Jacket Symphony was the band that truly shaped my love and appreciation for music.
An awesome evening
The Rose Music Center is a great new venue. As usual, Black Jacket Symphony is a consummate performer. I never tire of seeing them play their old guitar. There is literally not a bad seat in the house and I look forward to seeing many more concerts there. What a thrill it is. The Mavericks were also a treat although with close seats their music was too loud for the venue and the bass too much for my taste. I had never seen them. They were excellent performers though and I enjoyed the show after moving further back into the venue. I was told later that the venue does supply ear plugs but I think the sound should be adjusted for smaller venues. The venue was a perfect place for the concert.
